Commissioned by the IUCN Species Survival Commission to serve as a first response for wildlife health concerns across the world.
The 28th International Symposium of RRIAP- "Wildlife infectious diseases and the early warning system using zoo networks of the world" will be held on 28th January 2013 at College of Bioresource Sciences, Nihon University, JAPAN.
The purpose of the symposium is to understand and exchange information about infectious diseases transmitted among wild and captive animals with a significant impact on the ecosystem, the livestock industry and human society such as highly pathogenic avian influenza and foot-and-mouth disease, and also to conduct fundamental research to implement through collaboration among global regions for preventing infectious diseases using zoo networks in the world.
