6th European Wildlife Disease Association (EWDA) Student Workshop: “Human drivers of emerging diseases”

The EWDA Student Chapter is pleased to announce the 6th European Wildlife Disease Association (EWDA) Student Workshop: “Human drivers of emerging diseases”. The Workshop will be held from March 26th to 29th, 2015, at the conference centre Les Pensières of the Fondation Mérieux, in Veyrier-du-Lac, France.
The Workshop is organized for and by students to promote the scientific education of graduate students working on wildlife diseases in its broadest sense. The Workshop aims at giving students the opportunity to meet and share the experience of renowned scientists involved in wildlife disease research worldwide.
The Workshop is open to PhD-students and residents, as well as BSc- (in their final years) and MSc-students considering pursuing a career in wildlife disease research. Veterinarian, medical, biological, ecological, epidemiological and other backgrounds are all welcome. The Workshop is open to students from Europe and beyond.
The registration fee is EUR 100 and includes full-board housing. The application period for the Workshop has now started and will continue until the 6th of February 2015.
